Hi, I'm Shannon Renee.

I live in Northern California near the redwood trees and wineries. On any given day I can be found playing with my daughter, relaxing with my husband or buried under one of my numerous writing projects.

I am a huge fan of all things geeky (i.e. Star Wars, Comic con, and anything Superhero.) I'm also a huge fan of the San Jose Sharks and the San Francisco Giants. I can often be found yelling encouraging words of profanity at them during their respective sports seasons. I have a huge weakness for reading, fuzzy slippers, chocolate, babies, penguins and anything romantic.

I can’t keep a plant alive to save my life - but when it comes to animals I'm a natural. I currently have 3 cats, 1 tokay gecko, 3 red eyed tree frogs, 1 sulcata tortoise, 6 chickens, 1 red eared slider, 1 fire bellied turtle, 1 western pond turtle, 1 newt, 1 alligator lizard, 3 ducklings, 1 million fish of the koi, minnow, feeder guppy, goldfish variety that can be found in our two ponds and random tanks around the house, and 1 resident humming bird, named Hum.
